2017 911 Turbo to Debut in January

It's not even 2016 yet, but the 2017 911 Turbo and 911 Turbo S are scheduled to make their public debut right here in our neighborhood, at the Detroit Auto Show, January 11 - 24, 2016.

In addition to its classic, unmatched, premium aesthetic, the new models will feature an upgraded 3.8-liter twin-turbo six-cylinder engine that deliver 20 more horsepower than before (540 for the Turbo, and 580 for the Turbo S). Compared to the Turbo, the Turbo S will deliver higher maximum torque, as well as a higher redline.

A standard feature for all Turbo models is the Sport Chrono Package, which includes a GT sport steering wheel; a rotary ring for selecting one of four drivetrain modes (Normal, Sport, Sport Plus, Individual); and a Sport Response button, which preconditions the engine and transmission for the greatest responsiveness.
